Temptation Thursday: Bake Me a Wish! Cake Review and GIVEAWAY! ** Ended **

 

I'm the luckiest girl I know this week!

Well, one of the three luckiest girls.  Myself, along with Jen from The Mom Reviews and Jessi from Jabbering Jessi, are all participating in Temptation Thursday and giving lots of people the opportunity to win an amazing cake from Bake Me a Wish!

Let's get right down to the important stuff -- the cake!!

The folks at Bake Me a Wish! have an amazing selection of gourmet cakes for every occasion.  You name it -- they probably have it!  Red velvet...Carrot...Peanut Butter Mousse...Mississippi Mud...Tiramisu...S'more Brownie...Cookies and Cream.  Did you think I was kidding?  Just check out their website and you'll see what I mean.  They also customize them for any occasion with a yummy chocolate

We were the lucky family that received their Chocolate Mousse Torte Cake!

Two chocolate layers filled with luscious chocolate whipped cream mousse, then covered with milk chocolate frosting and a dark chocolate glaze. Garnished with fudge rosettes and dark chocolate shaves.

It was absolutely incredible!  I happened to have some of my friends over that evening and each of them was willing to take part in devouring eating a slice.  After one look at it I didn't exactly have to twist their arms.  The greatest part, aside from the amazing flavor and how moist the cake was, was how not overwhelming the chocolate was.  You would think, from looking at it, that it might be too rich to finish, but each of us was able to finish our piece and not feel a sugar punch to the gut.  I really appreciated that.  Not to mention it paired very well with red wine!

I managed to miss out on taking any pictures of us enjoying this scrumptious treat, so I'm happy that I get to share some of this experience with several lucky winners!
