I was jazzed that the punch turned out so well. And look to the left of the punch bowl...that's the jar of baby goodies that I had a ball putting together for a game. Everyone guessed the number of items inside, and the surprising part was that Lisa's 8 year old niece guessed exactly right! Even funnier is that she chose the Starbucks gift card. I guess even 8 year olds know where to get a good Frappacino!
One of the activities was painting a onesie, and the little girls were way into it. Here's my daughter painting hers.
The gifts were plentiful, the food yummy and the parents were pleased with the outcome. I couldn't be happier! It was truly a wonderful experience to give a fun and joyful shower for someone that I dearly love. Thank you, Lisa, for letting me participate. You deserve it, and I know you're going to be an amazing and loving mother.
Ditto to the best chef I know. He'll be a great dad!
The last highlight to share: the cake! There's a bakery nearby that makes just about anything you want, so in keeping with the airplane theme. This was Lisa's perfect pick.
